Underprivileged Children & Youth
Underprivileged children (street kids, orphans, internally displaced children, and from extremely low-income families) often lack basic life necessities and access to resources for dealing with youth and family related issues such poor nutrition, and literacy due to extreme poverty.

Wema International helps them thrive during youth and succeed as adults by looking for opportunities to help them through our Kind acts of Giving service and by assisting with resource development.

By supporting Wema’s fundraising events, you will increase the number of children served, pay the salary for a program coordinator, or fund a project for children.

Wema collects donated resources, such as clothing, foodstuff, school supplies, sports equipment, computers, printers, and iPads to support technology to needy schools.

Women and Girls
Wema is committed to expanding economic opportunities for women and girls through education, vocational training, and entrepreneurship with the goal of sustainable financial independence.
Through grassroots strategies that meet immediate needs and create lasting change, Wema believes that grassroots women’s organizations provide vital services to their communities as they strengthen and create conditions that propel them to achieve unprecedented success as individuals and as contributors to the larger community and society.
Wema International organizes events in schools and villages to educate women and girls on basic hygiene and health care awareness. With a broad range of issues critical to Women’s health and development like Family planning, financial services for the poor, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH).
We duly accept:
-
Donations of female supplies, especially, sanitary towels and beauty products.

Health Center Donations
Hospitals and Medical Centers lack adequate health supplies. We spread our Kind Acts of Giving by distributing and providing the following:
-
Hospital supplies like health kits and mosquito nets.
-
Beddings to the homeless, families, and local hospitals within the community.
-
Basic requirements for expecting mothers like Baby lotion and bottles, blankets, diapers, nursing bras, sanitary pads.
-
Wheelchairs, eyeglasses, crutches, and other disability equipment they might require that have been generously donated or funded by our donors.
Home Care Facilities
Home Care facilities for kids and senior citizens lack essential supplies for their day to day basic needs. Most of them lack enough support from their families due to their impoverished life and may end up being neglected unintentionally by society. We, Wema International help them with:
-
intercontinental diapers, blankets, bed sheets, food supplies and personal basic hygiene products.
Agriculture
In villages, families practice small scale farming that do not produce enough food to sustain themselves or support them as a source of income.
Through our local and regional representatives, Wema International helps to organize workshops and activities in support of the farmers and also provide them with:
-
Farming materials and equipment to help farmers increase their productivity and uplift their standard of living.
